So, for this week's blog, I would like you imagine yourself getting the ACT prompts. Describe what the choices are (what the questions are) and which one you choose and why. Then narrate how you write the test. What claim are you making? What are your reasons to support that claim? What evidence and specific details will you use to show your reader that your reasons are valid/real? Start your blog with "It is 1:00 and the proctor for the test just arrived" then tell the story of the test all the way up until you leave the room. When you are finished, take some time to read your classmates' responses and help them out if they seem to be missing anything. This blog will count double
its 1:00 and the proctor for the test just arrived. he/she hands me my test and i get started. i read the prompts and the choices. the choices are usually to donate some money to either a school or the community. i make my choice about which prompt to write about. i usually choose the school because it can help more people get an education. then after choosing i would try to do a quick outline to make my thoughts clear. i would use evidence from personal experience and facts. after finishing writing the essay i would read over to make sure there are no mistakes.
